Andrew Hall Editions is proud to collaborate with legendary British watchmaker Roger Smith in producing a series of original conceptual images inspired by the universal rhythm and harmonies of time, entitled ‘The Universe is a Clock’.
Roger Smith is considered one of the finest watchmakers in the world, making fewer than 20 pieces a year, with every component being made by hand, with meticulous attention to detail and perfect balance. This approach matches perfectly with the dominant themes of Andrew Hall’s photography exploring the rhythmic forces of nature.
Roger Smith was recently commissioned by the British government to make a unique piece for the GREAT Britain Campaign highlighting the very finest of British craft and creativity. The series of images was commissioned for use online and for exhibition purposes.
