British Invasion Group Show
MOAH, Lancaster, CA
‘British Invasion’, is a major group exhibit at MOAH (Museum of Art and History) featuring some of the most prominent artists working in California today. Beginning with trail blazing bands like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, British artists have long been drawn to California, reveling in the beauty of the light and the landscape and inspired by its forward-looking liberalism.
Seeking new beginnings and a fresh perspective, visual artists led by David Hockney were among the first to embrace the freedom of expression and freshness offered by California’s climate and society, and Andrew Hall is very proud to be included in this diverse group of illustrious expatriate pilgrims to The Golden State.
